    first of all, thank you for the compliment!

    your cake did turn out beautiful in the inside, and it sounds like you’ve troubleshooted perfectly!

    once you get the cupcakes working, maybe retry the cake. I do agree with over baking. I tend to under bake everything, so as soon as you feel like it might be done, take it out to avoid browning!

      Haha, thanks, Christine – my life is one big trial and error! Oh and trust me, I dipped those cake crumbs in icing and they tasted delicious, haha.
